book review: Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli

book review: Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli

Am I a professional when it comes to reviewing books?  Nope.  But I can tell you if I loved it, it was just okay, or (if given the chance) I would unread a book.

The Heartless Hunter has a unique concept of how a witch uses their power.  The markings that are left behind after using their powers are beautiful.  Unfortunately they are also what makes it easy to hunt a witch.

Add in a handsome witch hunter with a tortured past and you have the beginning of a troubled romance.

Things I liked:  The heroine isn't whiny.  The handsome witch hunter. The world that was created.

Things I didn't like:  I guessed who the villain was. The clue wasn't that subtle. Still enjoyable.

This is the first book in a series and it sets us up for a world full of romance and magic.  I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Overall: Loved it.

Will there be a soap inspired by this one?  Oh yeah.

Also, why is the UK title and cover completely different?  Why do I love it more?
