book review: Starter Villain by John Scalzi

book review: Starter Villain by John Scalzi

In this case my propensity not to read a book description totally paid off.  I was intrigued by the cover alone.

I am upset that somehow I completely missed this book when it was released over a year ago.  I wanted something fun and a bit light hearted to read.  This was definitely fun but also laced with snarky banter and dark humor.  It was precisely what I needed. I need more like this so if you have any recommendations leave a comment!

Ask yourself what you would do if you inherited the position of villain from a deceased relative.  Are you wondering if you get the super secretive totally decked out villain lair to go with that position?  What if you also inherit all of the enemies to go with your new villain title?  If this intrigues you even in the slightest then read this book.

As for me I'm going to look into other works by John Scalzi now.
